The mother of a missing Pilbara man has pleaded with the public to come forward with information a year since her son disappeared.

Clinton Lockyer was last seen in Roebourne, 1,500 kilometres north of Perth, on October 31, 2022.

Mr Lockyer, who was 30 years old at the time of his disappearance, was last seen wearing a black-and-red short-sleeved T-shirt and tan shorts.

WA Police hold "grave concerns" for Mr Lockyer's welfare and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

In a written statement, released on the anniversary of his disappearance, Clinton Lockyer's mother described what the past year has been like.

"It has been a year filled with anguish, sleepless nights, and endless questions," she wrote.

"As a mother, the pain of not knowing the whereabouts and wellbeing of my son is a burden that's impossible to put into words.

"The uncertainty has been excruciating, and each day that passes without his return is a day of heartache."

His mother, whose name has not been released, also made a personal appeal to her son.

"Clinton, your mother loves you, misses you, and wants to know that you are alright," she said.

"I implore you, Clinton, to reach out to the police or the relevant authorities and let them know that you are unharmed.

"Your family's heartache can only be healed by your safe return."

Missing persons investigators have spent the past year attempting to locate Mr Lockyer, and are now asking the public for any information.

Investigating officer Senior Constable Paul Ayton said police were seeking any relevant information regarding Mr Lockyer's disappearance.

"The Missing Persons Unit will chase up any potential leads that may direct us to Clinton," he said.

"He is a family man, and his family miss him dearly — we have and continue to work tirelessly to bring the family a resolution."

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
