Arnold James KING - TRAGICALLY LOCATED DECEASED

 On 29 July 2018 a bushwalker located human remains in the bushland near the Hopetoun-Ravensthorpe Road, Ravensthorpe. The bushwalker promptly informed the Ravensthorpe Police and the remains were retrieved. 6. On 6 August 2018 a post mortem examination was made on the skeletalised remains, and at the conclusion of the examination the forensic pathologists formed the opinion that the cause of death was unascertainable. I accept and adopt the forensic pathologists’ opinion on cause of death. 7. On 20 September 2018 the forensic scientist reported that the DNA findings supported the proposition that the deceased person was Mr KING, and the family was informed. The skeletalised remains that were examined on 6 August 2018 were of Mr KING. 8. In light of the results of the post mortem examination, the Open Finding as to how death occurred that I made on 19 May 2014 remains unchanged. R V C FOGLIANI STATE CORONER 18 February 2020
