Circumstances:
Christopher BODNEY was last believed to be at his
sister Melba's address in Ballajura WA on
Saturday 30th November 2002 at about 2100hrs when he
was spoken to via telephone by another sister. When
Melba returned to her residence at
approximately 2200hrs Christopher was no longer
there. No sign of any disturbance was detected. Has
not returned to his home address in Girrawheen.
Frequents the Mirrabooka Ponds area.
Police say they now have a final sighting of
Christopher which led officers to a site near
Girrawheen High School. Major crime investigators
say they know Mr Bodney had a conversation in
bushland outside the school, with three other men.
The conversation took place on December 1, 2002.
Despite extensive inquiries by police and family his whereabouts are not known. Concern is held for his safety and welfare
Police are continuing an investigation into the murder of a 32-year-old Perth man, after officers received fresh information and searched an area in the Western Australian city's northern suburbs yesterday.
Police say they now have a final sighting of Christopher Robert Bodney, missing since November last year, which led officers to a site near Girrawheen High School.
Major crime investigators say they know Mr Bodney had a conversation in bushland outside the school, with three other men.
The conversation took place on December 1.
It is believed Mr Bodney knew the men.
Officers say yesterday's search was fruitful, with several items taken from the site to be tested for possible links to the investigation.
