Tasmania Police has announced it has paused operations in Tasmania's
north-west, after finding more bones and items of clothing on Friday, which
are believed to be linked to missing Belgian backpacker Celine Cremer.
The recent two-day police search came after the discovery last Wednesday of
human remains made by a man who has been involved in volunteer efforts,
which began after police called off their initial search after Ms Cremer
went missing in 2023.
What's next?
Police have said testing on the human remains is expected to take "weeks" to
determine the identity.
