MISSING PERSON: Police appealing to public to find man

POLICE are appealing for public assistance to help find a 74-year-old man who
could be in the South Burnett region.
Clive Rolph, who is travelling in Central Queensland, was last seen on October
18 and has not contacted friends or family since.
Although his exact whereabouts are unknown, he is believed to be in the South
Burnett or Charleville area.
He is described as Caucasian, 170cm tall, of medium build and bald.
He is travelling in a blue Toyota Camry with Queensland registration 940VPN and
often stays in caravan parks.
Police are appealing for Mr Rolph or anyone with further information to contact
police.

Update 1: Search underway for missing man, Charleville
Police are continuing to search isolated bushland in western
Queensland after a vehicle belonging to missing man, Clive Rolph, 74, was
located abandoned on Friday, January 17.
Around 8pm on Friday night police were notified that Mr Rolph’s blue 2006
Toyota Camry with Queensland registration 940-VPN was found by a local
property owner bogged on a dirt track approximately 4kms from the Diamantina
Developmental Road, approximately 45kms west of Charleville.
A search was commenced around 6am on Saturday morning, and
continued over the weekend, involving police and SES personnel on foot and in
vehicles, in rugged terrain.
Police searches continued today with local police remaining in
contact with Mr Rolph’s family.
Mr Rolph was reported missing by family in New South Wales with
Queensland police investigations indicating he attended a Charleville service
station on October 21.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw Mr Rolph or his vehicle
between October 21, 2019 when he attended the Charleville service station and
the discovery of his vehicle on January 17, 2020 on the Diamantina Developmental
Road to contact them.
