Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 73-year-old
woman missing from Tewantin since Friday, December 15.
Evonne Bond (pictured) was last seen at a property in Tewantin at 11pm and
has not been seen or heard from since.
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare as she has a medical
condition.
Evonne is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 160cm tall
with a slim build, with short grey hair, and blue eyes.
Police are appealing to Evonne, or anyone who may have seen her or her white
Hyundai Kona (similar to one pictured below) to contact them.
Police have suspended the search for a 73-year-old woman reported missing
from Tewantin on Friday, December 15.
An extensive search and rescue operation began on December 27 after the
missing woman’s vehicle, a white 2018 Hyundai Kona, was located by a member
of the public at Sunrise Beach in Noosa.
The search continued on and off for several weeks, involving police, SES and
Lifeflight, however nothing of interest was located.
Police have liaised closely with Evonne Bond’s family during this time.
While the physical search has been suspended, police continue to appeal to
anyone with information that may assist in locating Evonne to come forward.
