He purchased the vehicle in Geelong on the 27th January 2026.

Michael was last seen on CCTV footage in Bunnings in Portland Victoria on the 10th February 2026.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help track the movements of a Ford Falcon in their efforts to locate missing man Michael.

The Tasmanian man travelled to Victoria and was driving a silver 2006 Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo sedan with registration UDY274 (pictured below).
Police located the vehicle at Norman Wade Scene Drive in Portland near the Volcanic Isles Lookout on 13 February.
Michael’s family last heard from him on Saturday 7 February.
Investigators are trying to piece together Michael’s movements, including determining how long the vehicle was parked at the lookout.
Anyone with dashcam footage or who saw Michael’s vehicle prior to 13 February is urged to contact Portland Police Station on (03) 5522 1500.
