Police appeal to locate missing 17yo youth - Illawong

NSW Police are appealing for information to locate a missing 17-year-old developmentally delayed Illawong youth.
 
Richard Sheridan failed to return to his home in Illawong after being last seen about 7pm at a school on Old Illawarra Road at Menai on 19 May.  
 
Sutherland Police were called and patrolled the Illawong area as well as searching Sutherland Railway Station, Menai CBD and the grounds of a local high school.
                                      
When he was last seen Richard was wearing light clothing and understood to have a small amount of money with him.   
 
Richard is described as being of white/European appearance, fair complexion, of medium build, 170-175cm tall with brown hair and blue eyes.              
                  
Sutherland Police are concerned for the teenager's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
