SA Police postpone renewed search for missing Andamooka woman Trisha Graf
Heavy rain has forced police to postpone a search for missing mother Trisha Graf
in mine shafts near the outback South Australian town of Andamooka.
Ms Graf, 41, was last seen driving in Andamooka, about 600 kilometres north of
Adelaide, in the early hours of December 12, 2025.
In a statement, SA Police said they had searched a residential property at
Andamooka on Monday but had concluded that search.
On Monday, police said the next search would focus on a number of mineshafts
located near Blue Dam, about 4km east of Andamoooka, where Ms Graf's abandoned
2012 white Ford Territory, with registration S254BCX, was found.
The search has since been called off due to poor weather, but police say it will
resume when conditions improve.
Police said Ms Graf had spent some time at the Roxby Downs Hotel, where she was
seen about 12:20am, before leaving a short time later with a friend.
"After leaving the hotel, Trisha travelled from Roxby Downs towards Andamooka
before colliding with a kangaroo a short distance from the Andamooka township,"
the police statement said.
"After striking the kangaroo, Trisha and her friend continued onto Andamooka,
where they visited a home in the north-western area of the town.
"After a short time, Trisha left just before 2am to travel the short distance
home.
"Trisha was last seen driving along Dunstan Drive, Andamooka."
Shortly after midday the same day, police said Ms Graf's partner and a
friend found her car while searching for her.
It could not be driven because it had been "perched on a dirt mound",
police said.
Police, SES and local community members conducted a ground and aerial
search for Ms Graf, and police divers later scoured Blue Dam.
At the time, Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke said
police had searched the "pristine" home she shared with her
partner and two young children.
"So it is out of character for her not to be in contact with
her children, to not be in contact with her partner, her
bank accounts not having been touched," Superintendent
Fielke said.
"She just doesn't disappear from Andamooka; she's
lived there for some time."
The latest search involves Major Crime investigators, STAG
Group, local police and SES members.
Police said anyone with knowledge about Ms Graf's
whereabouts or movements before she vanished should contact
Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
