Wei Du was 47 years old when he disappeared. He is an Asian male, of medium build, with black hair and brown eyes.
On 25 June 2005, it is believed that Wei went rock fishing near Pacific Parade, Dee Why, Sydney NSW. His vehicle was located nearby and unattended. A thorough search of the area did not locate Wei.
